I wanted to highlight what initially comes to mind when I think of Manitoba; lakes, rocky shorelines, thick forests and reeds. To be specific, I think of the scenery in Pimicikamak, specifically Spence Point where a thick brush of trees sit around the houses of my family members, the uneven landscape gradually turning into black rock that slopes into the waters where I would swim in the summer.
Following a trio of geese signifying the coming and going of the seasons, one is built into the sky and land to represent how interconnected life truly is.
