JUST TRANSITION GUIDE

I was commissioned by Indigenous Climate Action for Sacred Earth Solar to design the Just Transition Guide. My role was to translate extensive research and community knowledge into a reading experience that feels accessible and sustainable over long stretches of time. I focused on reducing visual strain through generous spacing, clear hierarchy, and intentional pacing, allowing readers to move through complex material without fatigue.

Photography is used throughout as a point of visual rest and orientation, offering breathing room between dense sections of text. Illustration and layout work together to support knowledge sharing across audiences with different levels of technical familiarity. My goal was to ensure the guide feels readable, durable, and genuinely useful for communities, educators, and organizers, reinforcing clarity and agency rather than abstraction or extraction.
