KEY BENEFITS FOR INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES BOOKLET

I designed this bilingual editorial publication for the Forest Stewardship Council with the intention of making complex certification policy feel approachable, lively, and human. I wanted it to read less like a formal report and more like a set of field notes something you could move through intuitively, pick up and put down, and return to without friction.

The design prioritizes usability through strong hierarchy and visual cues that help guide readers through dense information at an easy pace. A modular grid and generous spacing support scanning and comprehension, while illustrated forest and animal motifs bring colour, movement, and continuity across spreads. Colour is used deliberately to separate sections and highlight key ideas, keeping the publication fresh and engaging while supporting clarity rather than overwhelming it.
